I have been a capturing images since age 12, inspired by my father who was a professional photographer. For me, making my own colour prints meant working into the early hours (to take advantage of the hours of darkness) in a dusty attic room under the watchful gaze of my Wratten safelight and finally emerging at 2am with just two prints.

Times have moved on. Despite orking with all the advantages that digital imaging has brought us, I am happy to wait 2 days to receive prints after uploading them to the pro lab's server.

I have a relaxed and natural style with people and can put them at ease in circumstances that might otherwise bring to them thoughts of 'dentist chairs'. Whether in the corporate boardroom, the celebrity hotel or the homeless hostel, I can bring an eye and a feel to the image that brings the viewer a little bit closer to the subject of the story.
